Life as a new mommy!

So... It's been a while since I've had a blog posting. I'm in this Internet Writing class in school now, and I have to blog twice a week, which is nice, because now I can get my blog back up and running :)

so... since my last blog posting I became a mommy :) and it is such an exhausting full time job, but it's one that I wouldn't give up for anything in the world! Olivia is the best thing that has every happened to me! She is funny, intelligent and beautiful and I am so grateful to have a man in my life that helps me out with everything... I of course do most of the work, but he helps out where he can!

Moving up in the world....

So.... My boyfriend and I just got our very first apartment! We haven't moved in yet, we have to pay the lease and stuff but can i just tell you how excited i am?!?!

i'm so excited! lol

it's definitely a big step for us. now i'll def be bogging more often.I'll be talking about ALL the stupid shit men do! lol jk!

Respect the Dead yo

So....

it seems like theres a dead celebrity every other week or so but some people are still so rude. I mean, yeah so you didn't like that person but does it mean that you still have to be a douche bag about them dying... i mean really like today Cory Heim passed away and on someone's facebook status it said "Heim is dead, good, that's one less douchebag we have to worry about it. feldman, you're next" uhm... really... respect the dead man..... respect! it's not even like you knew that person personally all you saw was what was on televeision, you don't know their struggles or their hobbies, you don't know them like that so you can't judge.

RIP to everyone that has passed away... celebrity or not, you deserve to be respected whether they liked you or not

Black girl hair? or white girl hair?

So... my boyfriend and his sister called me up today and said that they were having an intervention bc i have a "product addiction" I thought they were talking about me having a hair straightener,blow dryer, 5,000 brushes and combs, hair spray,moose, etc., you know what i'm saying?

no... they were talking about wanting me to start using this black girl hair gel and that wasn't even the name of it, that's just what HE called it...

uhm...

I kinda didn't like that i'm not gonna lie, not bc my boyfriend is white and i think he's racist, but bc i felt like i was getting ganged up on...

I don't have the so called "black girl hair" or the so called "white girl hair" I'm right SMACK in the middle... I have "Hispanic girl hair" i guess you can say... I don't need as many products as the black girls but i need more products than the white girls.
My black friends tell me how much they love my "nice" hair and the white girls love my hair too, but it's clear that it's kinda different...

why do I have to be categorized? you know... damn... just had to get that off my chest bc it kinda made me mad a little bit...

no, i didn't break up with him, lol... he doesn't know any better i guess. he just likes running his fingers through my hair so i figuered i would just punish him by not letting him touch me, lol

Unwritten Rule...

So... isn't it an "unwritten rule" that you should not date your friends ex's or hook ups?

yeah... I thought so...

Some people don't follow rules apparently...
lucky for them though, I'm absolutely and madly in love w/my boyfriend and I'm no longer seeing my ex as a maybe... Thank God! or else shit would've really hit the fan, lol.

For most people... it's a beautiful experience
for others... not so beautiful

Me... I just feel... OLD! lol
yes yes... I'm only 23 soon to be 24 on June 8th but really, I feel old.lol
I'm definitely more mature, and I feel like I view the world different and I'm looking for different things in my new found friendships.
Even w/me and my boyfriend... we definitely connect on a different level. We have mind stimulating conversations (sounds corny, i know... but so true) and we connect in a whole different level...

so, i guess growing up isn't all that bad after all! :)

it's been a long time

So... what's up bloggers! it's been a loooooong time since i blogged anything.... i'm not gonna lie... right now it's really not a good time to blog because i have a 25 page paper due tmrw morning and i haven't even started it.... but whatevs, i'll get it done...just not right now... i'm so not focused! anyways, so just to get in to a few topics...well... just one for now... For the Love of Ray J.... yes... I can't help it but i'm sucked in! why is it that we're so in to reality shows? why? why? why? idk... but i'm eating it all up! i love that damn show, it's so funny to hear what these girls have to say and what they would do for this guy who's not only kissing/having sex with you, but he's also doing it w/like 15 other girls, i mean really? think women!

and really... he's ray j... he's rich and famous! WHY is he on tv looking for love?

we all gotta hand it to the man that first started the reality love shows, Flava Flaaaaaaave! yes, Flava Flave, he wasn't attractive AT ALL, but man he had these women making out with him and having sex, i mean really? ew, lol, but yea... just had to do a little reality show rant bc i just saw another episode! lol, keep it going VH1 nad MTV, i'll prob still watch whatever you throw at me! lol
